For 40 years, Caesar Park Hotel Kenting has been deeply rooted in the Hengchun Peninsula, believing that travel is not only about sightseeing, but also about connecting with the land and its people.
From last summer’s artisan workshops to the local partnership program Peninsula Stroll, the Caesar Peninsula Journey series continues to introduce travelers to the culture, stories, and everyday life of southern Taiwan.
This summer marks the third chapter of the journey: Wander Between Mountains & Sea.
Expanding beyond streets and cultural experiences, the program invites guests to explore forests, coastlines, local history, and nighttime ecology. Travelers are free to join activities according to their own interests and pace, creating a personalized summer adventure while discovering the diverse beauty of Hengchun.

Peninsula Nature Discovery Tour
Follow the southern coastline of Taiwan on a journey that blends spectacular scenery with local history. From the tribal lookout point overlooking the landing site of the Rover Incident, to iconic attractions such as Fengchuisha, Longpan Park, Taiwan’s southernmost point, and the Shell Sand Exhibition Hall, discover the natural and cultural landscapes that define the Hengchun Peninsula.
Itinerary：Hotel Departure → Tribal Lookout Point → Fengchuisha → Longpan Park → Shell Sand Exhibition Hall → Sail Rock → Return to Hotel
Time：09:30–11:30 (2 hours)

Kenting Forest Wellness Walk
Step into the heart of Kenting National Forest Recreation Area and immerse yourself in the beauty of Taiwan’s tropical forest. Walk beneath ancient trees, admire towering buttress roots, and explore hidden limestone caves while learning about the rich ecosystem of southern Taiwan.
Itinerary：Hotel Departure → Kenting National Forest Recreation Area (admission included) → Return to Hotel
Time：09:00–12:00 (3 hours)

Frog Rock Guided Tour
Discover one of Kenting’s most fascinating coastal landscapes. Shaped by wind and waves over thousands of years, Frog Rock stands quietly along the shore as a remarkable example of natural erosion. Through guided interpretation, learn how the coastline continues to evolve while enjoying the rhythm of the sea.
Itinerary：Hotel Departure → Frog Rock → Return to Hotel
Time：15:00–16:30 (1.5 hours)

Sand crab night tour
Experience Kenting’s shoreline after dark and observe sand crabs and other intertidal creatures beneath the moonlight. Guided by soft flashlight beams and the sounds of the ocean, discover the hidden life that emerges along the coast at night while respecting the natural environment.

Kent-ting night tour
Explore the peninsula after sunset and experience the magic of Kenting at night. Follow your guide through natural habitats, listen to the sounds of the wilderness, and observe nocturnal wildlife. With a bit of luck, you may encounter Formosan sika deer before ending the evening beneath a sky full of stars.

Time：19:30–21:00 (1.5 hours)

Discover Hengchun｜Culture & Heritage
Step into historic streets, traditional neighborhoods, and cultural landmarks to uncover the stories that have shaped the Hengchun Peninsula and its unique way of life.
Hengchun Cultural & Local Life Tour
Discover the cultural heritage of Hengchun through its historic streets, local industries, and community stories. Visit the Sisal Industry Historical Exhibition Area to learn about the region’s agricultural past, stroll through Hengchun Old Town, and explore the Hengchun Folk Songs Museum. As the day draws to a close, enjoy the breathtaking sunset at Guanshan and experience the charm of southern Taiwan at dusk.
Itinerary：Hotel Departure → Sisal Industry Historical Exhibition Area → Hengchun Old Town → Hengchun Folk Songs Museum → Guanshan Sunset → Return to Hotel

Set sail from Little Bay and let the wind guide you across Kenting’s crystal-blue waters.As the waves gently rock the boat, enjoy panoramic views of the southern coastline and experience the freedom of summer from a unique perspective. Whether it is your first sailing adventure or simply a new way to appreciate the sea, this journey offers an unforgettable encounter with Kenting’s ocean scenery.

Important Information
- Guided tours are conducted in Mandarin Chinese. Participants are encouraged to have basic Mandarin communication skills to fully enjoy the experience.
- All activities require advance reservations. Registration and payment must be completed by 9:00 PM on the day before the activity, unless otherwise specified.
- A minimum of four adult participants is required for guided tours to operate. Children are not included in the minimum participant count. Tours may be canceled if the minimum requirement is not met.
- Most activities take place outdoors. Participants are advised to wear comfortable clothing and sports shoes (or closed-toe footwear) and bring drinking water, a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and rain gear as needed.
- Participants should assess their own physical condition before joining. Guests with cardiovascular conditions, respiratory illnesses, pregnancy, or other health concerns are advised to evaluate whether the activities are suitable.
- In the event of typhoons, heavy rain, strong winds, earthquakes, road closures, or other force majeure circumstances, the organizer reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel activities for safety reasons.
- Please help protect the natural environment. Do not pick plants, capture wildlife, feed wild animals, or damage natural landscapes. All personal belongings and trash must be taken away upon departure.
- For safety and to maintain the quality of the experience, participants must follow the guide’s instructions and remain within designated areas. Guests who leave the group without permission or fail to comply with safety regulations will be responsible for any resulting consequences.
- Caesar Park Hotel Kenting reserves the right to adjust, interpret, or modify activity arrangements. Any matters not specified herein shall be subject to on-site announcements and staff instructions.
